She spend most of her 20’s living in New York City where she was exposed to a dynamic and fast-paced environment that influenced her approach to fitness and wellness. Drawing inspiration from the energy of the city, she incorporated elements of hygge from living in Denmark into her workout concept, creating a program that resonates with individuals and groups seeking balance in their busy lives.

while working out by making movement joyful for the body. We believe that movement should feel like
a break from a busy day and through movement, and energize the body.
The GUNILLAR’s Hygge based mindful movement is an efficient low impact workout style that sculpts and leans the body in a supportive, creative, stable, supportive way.

Our Hygge based approach centers around low-impact movements that target the small muscle groups, sculpting, toning, and helping you achieve a long, lean, feminine-looking body. The best part? Because our workout is guided by Hygge, you can do the workout wherever you are comfortable. You don’t need much space or equipment to get started - it can be done from your own home. We use own body weight and incorporate at times “what would my best self do” - 1 lb weights, Pilates ball, slider, Pilates ring, ankle bands, and more to enhance the efficiency, fun, and creativity of your movements.

GUNILLAR uses Hygge to help those from other cultures, including Americans, to live their best lives. You don’t have to be from a country with excellent and free healthcare and education, to understand or incorporate Hygge into your life. Using the Danish concept of “power distance” the GUNILLAR workout encourages clients to be more intentional and present by creating a friend/colleague vibe. Instead of a strict teacher/student model, a Hygge workout is undertaken by equals who are present with each other. Taking a break, balancing work with life, that is the core of Hygge that adds extra value to their work life balance and make them more productive and happier.
